CRIMES AGAINST SCI-FI
aka CASF
We understand the need for creative license, but sometimes it goes too far.
1) All ancillary characters are useless.
2) The young, inexperienced protagonist is somehow an expert at everything and is a superhero.
3) Incompetence in ancillary antagonist characters.
4) Plot devices, deus ex machina
5) Useless nonsensical technical babel.
6) Misuse of technical terms and/or bad science.
7) Misuse of technology or unrealistic action sequences.
8) Over use of computer graphics
9) Reuse of scenes
ACCEPTABLE CRIMES
Certain theatrics are needed.
1) Sounds in space
2) Humanoid aliens and speaking English
3) Reuse of actors/actresses
